A total tier list does not answer "who makes money". The currencies page says there are 8 cash-giving units and does not name all 8. I only list the ones with a quoted mechanic.

Money units with a quoted mechanic
Jeff (CEO): one placement, cannot be sold, $997K to max, profit after 4 waves at max according to the tier blurb. Octo The Greedy stores cash until you cash out, then stops generating. Pizza Girl has a source-listed $701 per wave and placement 1; that figure is not asserted as the maximum income at every upgrade. Leader money buffs are category-conditional: Humble-Swordman (Awoken) 20%, Heavenly Duo 17%, and Card Collector, Ci 5%.
